What started as a hobby to keep myself busy between my newborn son’s naps, quickly turned into a passion. And I decided to turn it into a career. I love making and creating. Seeing a finished piece inspires me like nothing I’ve experienced. Taking a rough piece of wood and making it into a usable and beautiful finished product is rewarding in ways I can’t describe. Seeing my pieces live on in someone’s home or place of business gives me a sense of pride and it is truly an honor. My top priority is the satisfaction of my customers. I want nothing less than for them to love what I’ve made for them.
I source my lumber as locally as possible. I work with several urban logging companies that salvage their material from trees that come down due to safety concerns or from clearing work done by local utilities or housing developments. Keeping these trees from the land fill and peoples fireplaces gives these beautiful trees a second lease on life.
